How to Connect an MCP Server

Extend Claude's capabilities with new tools and data sources. Three steps, under a minute.

Open the Customise Menu

In Claude.ai or Claude Desktop, find the Customise icon on the left panel.

Add a New Connector

Click Connectors, then the + button, and select Add custom connector.

Enter the Server URL

Give the server any name you like, then paste the URL exactly as provided below. Click Add and you're done.

Tip: You only need to add the server(s) relevant to your work. Each server gives Claude access to different tools — you can always add more later.
